Highly recommend starting out with this drone for FPV. Learning on this will save you money and time along with keeping you in the hobby. This also allows you the ability to fly either inside or out, so on those rainy days you can still get in some stick time. From the time I placed my order until I had this in my hands was 9 days.

I originally bought this for flying inside my house but it is very powerful and took a lot of practice. If you want something indoors I might recommend a 1S whoop but hey, more power is always a good thing right

The charger does not come with any plug. So you have to source something for power. It could be tuned better.

This is a great little drone, however, it takes a lengthy amount of programming and set up. You must bind the drone to your receiver, you must also flash the firmware (because it’s shipped with an incompatible version for betaflight), in order to setup the drone. Next you must adjust all the settings and alarms (the low-battery alarm is programmed improperly). I struggled with betaflight, set up, binding, and programming (driver errors, downloads, fixes) for almost 2 days in order to be able to use it. Don’t forget to calibrate the accelerator for stable flight (this is critical!), use a mug or cup to keep your drone level with the USB plugged in to BetaFlight for easy accelerometer calibration. I also use a mug for stability in take off as well. Once it’s all set up and programmed properly the drone functions and flys amazing. Both my 14 yr old son and I take turns flying all over the house and outside. I would highly recommend purchasing 4-6 extra batteries due to the fact that total flight time is only about 2-3 minutes and charging time 30-60mins. I would also recommend a multi-port USB adapter to quickly charge them at the same time (available here on Amazon, 2 four port chargers for $12). There are lots of YouTube setup walkthrough videos for this drone and it was the only way I was able to work my way through the setup and numerous issues. Be patient, take your time, and breathe, it’s all worth it in the end!

If you are new, start out in stabilized mode. When you get good fly in air mode.

The Mobula7 is a really nice little whoop class quad and in my opinion would make a perfect second quad after someone learns the basics with a brushed whoop. I still consider myself a noob in the RC hobby only into it in the past few years after coming back to it after decades. I've acquired a few quads in the last few years, a couple of mini's and a couple of micro's aka tiny whoops. I found that I have the most fun flying the whoops. The one issue a had with the whoops I had was the 1s battery limit and the brushed motors. 1s is fine most of the time zipping around indoors, sometimes I just wanted a bit more power available when flying outside to fight the wind, and when I fly I run through a lot of packs which meant I wore out motors rather quickly. The Mobula7 basically covered both of those issues giving me the option of 1s or 2s for batteries, and brushless motors that will hold up better to just flying about air you wearing out.

Is the Mobula7 perfect? Well nothing is perfect, but sometimes things are pretty close and the Mobula 7 is for me. I still think people wanting to try the hobby should start with a brushed whoop the Mobula7 is the perfect next step for new and casual hobbyists to continue learning the skills and maintenance/repair/tweaking knowledge you'll need for the larger quads.

It's very amazing to fly with. But unless you know what you're doing, on how to set it. Good luck trying to fly

I genuinely can't see furniture. My 40lb brown dog is invisble at 10 ft against a white wall. I ordered 2 and one is just unflyable.

The other drone however is fantastic, and these are perfect for learning if you limit the throttle to half for flying indoors. The seller has reached out and fixed my issue, so I highly recommend this drone as a whoop for flying indoors, with the power to fly outdoors
