The video & photos are comparable to what our iPhone 6 takes. Very impressive! Works great no issues at all, and comes with small carry case..awsome 4k video..a very well made drone, does NOT look or feel cheap..easy to fly what more do you want ..just make sure you read the manual and you should have no problems .
Really looking forward to putting this in my pocket and taking it on vaccation to the Yucatan peninsula this year..

I came across WINGSLAND a fairly new company that started not too long ago. I need something that was simple and versatile nonetheless still able to take good quality pictures and videos.
The WINGSLAND S6 definitely fit in all the above descriptions. Its simple design make it look slick and modern. The best part is you don’t have to rob a bank or take out a second mortgage just to pay for it.
For something that so compact and thin I’m surprise that the camera is so good. I was able to get some really good photos just around my neighborhood. Not to mention Sony IMX214 can do 4k recording at 30fps or if you just want to stick with 1080 at 60fps.
While there definitely lots of good to say about this little machine I did come across one small problem unless you live in a warm environment you must first warm up your battery either by charging right before your flight or keep it somewhere warm. Luckily I was able to get in contact with WINGSLAND support team to find out about this detail and I didn’t have to wait like an hour before someone answered.
The WINGSLAND S6 is definitely a great entry level drone that’s able to capture some great quality aerial photos and you don’t have to break your bank. I would highly recommend this to anyone who just want a good little drone and want to do some practices flying.

The S6 from WINGSLAND has really out done itself. I have never flow a drone before this purchase and let’s just say the camera build in the S6 truly is amazing. Even in a bright sunny day setting the camera/videos still come out distortion-free and crystal clear.

The aesthetic on the S6 is also an exceptional beauty. Its slim and pocket size makes it extremely easy to travel around with and not to mention it’s also really light weight. The only down side is I hope they sell more colors in the future.

I mention before this is the first drone I ever purchase or flown so when it comes to connecting the app I got a little confused at first. I was able to get in touch with one of WINGSLAND customer support reps and he was able to help me out with no problems. I was up and flying my drone within minutes.

The unit feels light but well built. The retractable arms are secure, as is the battery compartment. The propellers collapse for storage and lock securely at 180 degrees when ready for use.

The app is easy to learn, and has a good virtual mode to practice in. (Very recommended prior to your first flight, just to be on the safe side.) The controls are responsive. There are three ways to land the craft: manually, auto-land, and auto-home. You can manually set it down as you please. The auto-land comes straight down slowly and shuts off, but cannot be aborted once started... weird. The auto-home is my favorite... when used outdoors, it returns to almost the exact spot that it took off from and sets down. Plus, auto-home can be aborted or shifted at any time. Love it!

The camera is fantastic. It has a bright 2.2 aperature that takes very nice stills, especially in burst mode. (No drone remains perfectly still all the time, so the burst ups your chances of nailing the shot.) The images are a bit distorted at the edges due to the fisheye effect though, since it has a nice wide view. While hovering, the video is fairly stable. In motion, the jostling is more noticeable but not enough to cause motion sickness. I only use the 4k 30fps or 1080p 60fps modes, but there are smaller variants too if you don't need that high a resolution.

The orange and black looks distinct and cool. It's easy to see against the sky or clouds. And there are blinking colored LEDs in the front and back if you need extra visibility.

I subtracted one star because the firmware hasn't yet unlocked all the features like the fastest flying mode. (I'd be afraid to go faster in the city, but I want the feature now!) It's still a worthwhile purchase as is, and it's bound to keep improving with each firmware patch.

I can only talk about build quality as mine was d.o.a. no fault of manufacturer but i tried to go cheap and bought frome amazon warehouse. As you know that is usually a 50/50 shot at getting something that actually works. But as far as the s6 it seems to be a very well built selfie drone. Now don't compare it to a phantom but as far as a portable quick shot drone this seems to be a nice built one. With that said...shop around their are much better deals for this little guy on the internet.
