Great little drone that has a case to put it in your pocket drone flies smooth of calibrated properly batteries must be charged multiple times to get full run time only Only flies for a few minutes untill 3 or 4 charges. Good little drone you get what you pay for not badd for $100

You need the R6 controller to get the most out of this Drone. If there is any wind it is just not flyable with a phone. I have been getting about 5-10 min flying time. Remember that this is a very small drone and it's not a Spark. Don't pay over 100$. And get spare batteries. I was impressed by the video quality.

The S6 is a small and very portable camera drone. I can walk trails and take the drone out whenever I see a good photo opportunity since it fits easily in my pants pocket. The battery life is not good so it should only be used to take quick photos or a short video before sending it back down. The phone app is easy to use and very responsive when controlling the drone. I recommend the S6 for those that want to have something on hand to get those nice elevated shots.

This is a well built drone but the drone needes to be heated up let the drone sit at least 5 mins before flying other wise the battery life will drop quickly I had to keep sending for a new one costumer service helped they even checked them before sending them advice is to ready the papers that comes out side of the drone before use and you will have a great eperecence for the battery don’t work they will send new ones and the battery indicator never turns green it’s not the battery is the charger they are good with sending replacepments

The device build quality is awesome, Fit and finish is also extraordinary all the four stars that i give will go to the support and build quality.

However the Application needs a little update and also the battery, the claimed time is 8 mins, even in the desired weather conditions the device lasted me for 5 mins and 26 seconds

i would suggest an update for battery with accurate performance would be appreciated and also an update to the application.

Overall this is a great drone. Has the control and ability needed and the video quality is great. My only complaint with this drone is the battery life. I is 3-5 minutes at best. I had no other problems with this unit as long as its calibrated and setup properly before every use. The customer service response was great as they got back to me within 24 hours and agreed to send me a replacement battery. I will update after I receive the replacement battery. My overall outlook on this drone is that it is a good buy. Just dont fly it in wind....

The unit feels light but well built. The retractable arms are secure, as is the battery compartment. The propellers collapse for storage and lock securely at 180 degrees when ready for use.

The app is easy to learn, and has a good virtual mode to practice in. (Very recommended prior to your first flight, just to be on the safe side.) The controls are responsive. There are three ways to land the craft: manually, auto-land, and auto-home. You can manually set it down as you please. The auto-land comes straight down slowly and shuts off, but cannot be aborted once started... weird. The auto-home is my favorite... when used outdoors, it returns to almost the exact spot that it took off from and sets down. Plus, auto-home can be aborted or shifted at any time. Love it!

The camera is fantastic. It has a bright 2.2 aperature that takes very nice stills, especially in burst mode. (No drone remains perfectly still all the time, so the burst ups your chances of nailing the shot.) The images are a bit distorted at the edges due to the fisheye effect though, since it has a nice wide view. While hovering, the video is fairly stable. In motion, the jostling is more noticeable but not enough to cause motion sickness. I only use the 4k 30fps or 1080p 60fps modes, but there are smaller variants too if you don't need that high a resolution.

The orange and black looks distinct and cool. It's easy to see against the sky or clouds. And there are blinking colored LEDs in the front and back if you need extra visibility.

I subtracted one star because the firmware hasn't yet unlocked all the features like the fastest flying mode. (I'd be afraid to go faster in the city, but I want the feature now!) It's still a worthwhile purchase as is, and it's bound to keep improving with each firmware patch.

The Wingsland S6 doesn’t boast of any fancy smartphone level chipset in its PCB. However it still goes on par, if not even better than the ZeroTech Dobby in terms of features and specifications. The S6 also features a 13 MP f/2.2 camera which is capable of recording at 4K resolution at 30 fps. The drone also has the advantage of recording at 1080p at 60 fps with EIS and there’s even slow motion recording mode on the drone which I thought was cool and easy to use.

It houses a 1400mAh battery that can fly the drone for up to 10 minutes ( sometimes I get 15 minutes) and can be controlled by Android or iOS devices. It has a GPS+GLONASS positioning system for precise flying in outdoor and also has an IR, optical flow sensor positioning system, and sonar for indoor or poor GPS areas.

The drone has two flight modes — Beginner and Normal, along with two additional feature based flying modes like course lock and home point lock mode. It also does auto follow aka follow me, waypoint, point of interest, programmed flight, among others. I used my galaxy s6 to fly it and the the touch screen controls were easy to learn and use. There is a built in flight simulator for those beginners who want to learn the controls better and get practice without the worries of crashing your actual drone. The app itself will have to be downloaded manually from Wingsland's web page as it is not yet available in google play.

The S6 also has special modules or add-on accessories like Bomb Gun, Searchlight and Display Board that mount on to the drone and evolve it into more than just a selfie drone. Buyer beware as the replacemen chasis parts are not easy to find at the moment. I am still waiting got the DJI Mavic style remote control to be released for this and there isnt muchg info about its release.
