I really shouldn't complain for a great ESC for just ~$20. It is a very good value.Just FYI, if you're used to Hobbywing ESCs, this is NOT programmable using Hobbywing programming card. The only options you get are the drive modes and battery type.Just one minor complaint I guess is that there is no drag brake available in F/B/R mode.. - there IS drag brake (pretty strong one at that) when in F/R mode, which is really for crawlers which is where you need drag brake the most.. It would still be nice to have some drag brake in F/B/R mode.

Using this for a custom conversion of a walmart ride-on toy for my daughter. I used an Arduino with the Servo library. Now I have soft-start as well as limited top speed and soft-slow down. The battery elimination circuit has enough juice to power the Arduino. Great ESC!

I have been using these for all sorts of projects. Most recently, I powered a linear actuator in a combat robot with one, and while that only pulled about 5 amps, it had to survive literally being slammed into and covered with sawdust, metal filings, and the like. This thing has excellent physical shock resistance. I was also powering it from a 22.2V LiPo with a 24V-12V DC-DC buck converter meaning it was getting essentially the full charge voltage of a 3S LiPo the entire time it operated, and it still worked flawlessly at the 12-12.4V range.I have also used two of these in a drill-motor powered chair project and they barely even get above room temperature while the motors are practically about to melt with the current they pump out. They are designed for 18V but I am running off a 12V car battery that reaches 13.6V charged, still no complaints from these ESCs. I estimate they draw about 40 amps continuously while running, and maybe 80 amps at startup.My only real complaint is that since these are for cars and not robots, they deliver half the current in reverse as forward, but that's only a problem for me since I am admittedly abusing the hell out of these guys.

I was able to burn out 2 motors with this esc, by gearing the pinion too high. The esc didn't even get too hot to touch in the process. I love the jumper to switch between lipo and nimh. I have 3 of each battery and it makes it easy to switch between battery types.

Such a great esc for ur vintage builds that have brushed motor or whatever you can get it into haha for the price you can't get any better I bought about 6 of these for my vintage rides

This is a really nice ESC for a brushed motor - I use it for a speed control in my RC boat which has a brushed motor that only draws about 5 amps. Works great, and easy to wire up. Excellent product for my usage.

This is one of my Go To ESC's for a lot of RC's! It works great in everything from boats to 1/10 scale rock crawlers and down to little 1/18 scale trucks! Pretty great little esc for just about any rc you need to get up and going and you don't have to worry about waterproofing them either! Love that!

We bought this for our 3 year olds wheelie king! It works great! Easy to install and haven't had a problem yet! We just let him use a nimh 7.4v but have used a lipo also.
