Mini Pcie Notebook Diagnostic Card Description

>>> Notebook diagnostic card III generation: support USB function

>>> Mini PCIe Notebook Diagnostic Card II Generation

The second generation of notebook diagnostic card adds a code search function to the first generation of notebook diagnostic card. In this way, the user can easily check the code record of the diagnostic card. The second generation of the notebook diagnostic card supports 16 data storage depths and supports forward and backward data checking. Take IBM T6 as an example, when the diagnostic card stops at the code "E7" at the end, you can find the code before the "E7" code by the forward and backward search keys on the diagnostic card II, which are "B6", "92"," 8B","90",...

>>> Notebook diagnostic card (3 in 1) VIP version: The VIP version is an upgraded version of the original three-in-one version.

1) It uses a four-layer PCB board design to make the signal more stable and can work for a long time in harsh environments.

2) It uses tantalum capacitors to provide a more stable and reliable power supply for the entire product.

3) The layout is more complete and easier to operate.

This notebook diagnostic card supports Mini PCI, Mini PCI-E, LPC bus interface. When the diagnostic card works, it only needs to be connected to one of the interfaces, and the remaining two interfaces do not need to be connected. The diagnostic card is easy to use and has good stability. It is an ideal tool for notebook computer maintenance. (Technical products need to have a certain understanding and hands-on ability, the products have been tested before shipment)

1:

1) Mini PCI interface: used to connect the diagnostic card to the Mini PCI slot of the notebook motherboard.

2) Mini PCI-E interface: used to connect the diagnostic card to the Mini PCI-E slot of the notebook motherboard.

3) LPC interface: used to connect the diagnostic card to the LPC interface of the notebook motherboard.

4) Dedicated main chip: used to process Mini PCI, Mini PCI-E, LPC signals.

5) Two seven-segment digital tubes: used to display diagnosis results.

6) Test interface: This interface is only used for testing the card before it leaves the factory. Users should not connect to this interface.

2: Mini PCI interface of the diagnostic card

Mini PCI is an interface commonly used by notebook motherboards, and its function is similar to the PCI bus. The Mini PCI bus has a total of 124 pins. The diagnostic card uses 101 pins to achieve the required functions. When the diagnostic card is installed in the Mini PCI slot of the notebook, the length of the diagnostic card will be shorter than the length of the Mini PCI slot of the motherboard. This brings convenience to the use of the diagnostic card.

3: Mini PCI-E interface of the diagnostic card

Mini PCI-E is a new interface that is gradually being used in notebook motherboards. Compared with Mini PCI interface, Mini PCI-E interface takes up less space. The diagnostic card uses the following pins of the Mini PCI-E interface: PIN-8, PIN-10, PIN-12, PIN-14, PIN-16, PIN-17, PIN-19. Currently, as the pin definition standard for this part is being formed, not all notebook motherboards currently support this interface. After testing, recent notebook motherboards such as Lenovo, HP, Toshiba, Asus, TCL can support this interface. For a few notebook motherboards that do not support this interface, this interface will not work properly.
