DPM series Part-Number Description:

Note 1:DP8B and DP8T have no E-mark/chip. After two DP lines are connected in series, the signal attenuation may not meet the DP1.4 full speed. DP8Q with E-mark/chip, active chip technology can enhance the signal, support DP1.4 full speed

Note 2: The extension cord does not support 2 transfers, that is, the signal will be attenuated if two or more DP lines are connected in series. The non-relay chip cannot support DP1.4 full speed, and it needs to be reduced in speed and frequency to be used normally.



1) Cable length Description:

The length of the wire refers to the part of the wire, excluding PCB and connectors. If it includes PCB and connector, add about 4cm. So the total length is about 9cm.


2) Is there any EMI shielding for Cable?

The extender utilizes the latest materials for EMI shielding with five sole flat cables design. This technique allows each cable to be fully covered by electromagnetic interference shielding with conducting polymer to guard against incoming or outgoing emissions of electromagnetic frequencies, minimize disturbance and degradation on performance, and reduce the weight of the extender.

3)Is the wire soft? Can it be bent?


The black wire has a thickness of 1.3mm, the silver wire has a thickness of 1.4mm, and the blue wire has a thickness of 0.94mm.




4)For model P8T/P8Q, what is the pitch and screw?
 
As shown in the figure below, the fixed terminal is fixed with M4 screws by default. If you want to use a smaller M3 screw hole, please take a picture of the M3 fixing seat or contact customer service when making payment. The hole distances are all 27mm, and you can contact customer service to obtain 3D STEP files.
 

Model P8T/P8Q Difference?


Model DP8T has no chip, and the signal attenuation may not meet the requirements of DP1.4 high-speed signal transmission after two DP lines are connected in series.
 
Model DP8Q with chip, using Diodes/Pericom's Redriver signal repeater (Repeater IC), this chip can regenerate the signal to enhance its signal quality. To reduce the error rate of signal transmission, the reference diagram is as follows:.
