What is the quality of the wire? Is it shielded?
It has a metal layer shielding, using advanced EMI shielding conductive polymers, new materials for EMI shielding, and a flat cable design. This technology allows each cable to be completely covered by electromagnetic interference shielding conductive polymers to prevent the incidence or emission of electromagnetic frequencies, minimise interference and performance degradation, and reduce the weight of the wiring.
Is the cable flexible? Can it be bent?
The cable is ADT's independently developed fifth-generation PCIe-dedicated cable, available in black and silver:
The black thin version has a thickness of 0.8mm, making the cable very flexible and bendable without affecting performance.
The silver hard version has a thickness of 1.1mm, making it more robust. While the cable is stiffer, it remains bendable.
The PCB is too long. Can it be shortened?
The PCB can be cut along the white line indicated by the arrow, and it has good structural compatibility.
