The hood seems to be of quality construction, but it really is not a good fit for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8, despite being listed as compatible. The tablet is slightly wider than the shade, so while it is workable, the Velcro just barely has enough room to attach.

Dimension info in the description suggested that my Samsung Tab S 8.4 tablet might fit. And it almost did fit. But I gave up on that and returned the item for refund.
But the hood appeared to be well constructed, and would have been very happy with it if it had fit my tablet.

Terrible smell upon opening the plastic packaging. Other than that, these cases seem just OK - they might protect the mavic and controller from scuffs and bumps, but they're not hard or rigid enough to provide serious protection. I bought the cases to store the Mavic in my camera bag, and to keep it from getting snagged on other items, and for that, it seems it will work.

I cut additional openings in it for use with my Ellipsis tablet, and now it works. It's tight.

The case's themselves seem to fit the Mavic and controller fine but the smell is unbearable. This has been soaked in odor eliminator and set outside for a week now. It is better but I will probably keep it outside for another week before use.
Update: I have now had these since March 23. They have been outside for the whole time. They still smell but seem to be getting a little better. I'm thinking if I keep them outside for another week they should be usable!

This product fit the devices as advertised. However, I could not give it 5 stars because the items smelled of cigarettes and ash trays. So much so that it smelled up an entire closet where the item is stored and now I have the items airing out on the porch. I am going to douse the items with febreeze and lysol if the airing out doesn't work.

Marked as fitting an iPad mini 4, which it does... sort of. It's an extreme fit and the side has to be slightly canted to make it fit. There is no extra room or give on the iPad mini 4. Otherwise, it does what it was designed to do.
