Extremely good motor. They are a sleeper.The entire XT series XT1103/1104/1406/1408 that I have tried are all great motors. Curved magnets, good bearings, tight airgap, light weight, very well made, and very good power and efficiency. Whoever designed these motors is right up there with the very best designers. The machining is excellent. There is nothing lacking, I cannot find even one thing to criticise.

I can't modify my previous review, so. I just put another set of these to an ultralight 4" and on 850mah 4S I have to limit my throttle to 75%. The quad hovers at 13-14% and the motors come down rather cool even after doing multiple full throttle punches. These motors are absolute beasts

My favourite motor for 3 inch. Efficient and enormous amount of power. I have 4 sets and still keep buying them.
