IP101GHI is an IEEE 802.3 / 802.3u to single port fast Ethernet transceiver for both 100Mbps and 10Mbps operations. It supports automatic MDI / MDIX function to facilitate network installation and reduce system maintenance cost. To improve system performance, IP101GHI provides a hardware interrupt pin to tell you the link, speed, and duplex state change. IP101GHI provides Media Independent Interface (MII) or Reduced Media Independent Interface (RMII) to connect with different types of 10 / 100Mbps Media Access Controller (MAC). IP101GHI is designed to use Category 5 unshielded twisted pair cables or fiber optic cables that connect to other LAN devices. The APECL interface can be connected to an external 100Base-FX fiber optic transceiver. Except for good performance, reliability, energy saving method and extremely low operating current, IP101G provides a serial tool for system designers to complete their projects easily. They are an auxiliary system debugging tool and an EMI management tool.
