XT-XINTE PCI-E PCI Express x4 x2 M.2 NGFF M-Key NVME AHCI SSD Converter Card Adapter for 2014 Macbook Mini A1347 MEGEN2 MEGEM2 MEGEQ2

The adapter can covert the NGFF M-key SSD to the 2014 Macbook Mini A1347 MEGEN2 MEGEM2 MEGEQ2 SSD.

Note: The Nvme SSD only work for Mac OS HiSierra.

Note: The adapter only work for M-key SSD, cannot work for B-key or B/M-key socket.

This riser card supports 2280 2260 2242 2230 PCIE x4 and PCIE x2 protocol M.2 NGFF SSD solid state drive converted to Late 2014 version of Mac mini A1347 (MGEM2xx/A MGEN2xx/A MGEQ2xx/A) model computer hard drive

Note:
PCIE x4 M.2 NGFF SSD is divided into AHCI protocol and NVMe protocol. For beginner level buyers, please use PCIe x2 or x4 AHCI hard disk. Experienced and capable buyers can use NVME protocol PCIe x4 M.2 NGFF SSD installation.
About using AHCI protocol hard disk or NVME protocol hard disk, this is your own technical problem, has nothing to do with the adapter card, Sorry that we can not provide technical support! Novice buyers are advised to purchase PCIe x4 M.2 NGFF AHCI SSD that work with this adapter card!

Compatibility With:

2014 Macbook Mini A1347 MEGEN2 MEGEM2 MEGEQ2

Summary of reasons why the hard disk cannot be recognized:
1. The interface of the adapter card is not inserted into the socket of the computer. It can be used with a little force. And very important thing is, Please after pressing it in. Because if it is not flattened, some contacts will not be touched, so the computer will definitely not recognize the hard disk.
2, The hard drive is wrong, some buyers use the SATA protocol M.2 NGFF hard drive to install, certainly not.
3, The system installation disk must use version 10.13.6 or higher, some buyers use 10.11 or 10.12 or even 10.10 to install, this is not acceptable, because these old version systems do not include NVME drivers. This is the same as the Microsoft system. If you use the NVME protocol hard disk and make a Windows 7 system, you will definitely not recognize the disk. (Of course, you can install the Windows 7 system by patching. The old mac system can be patched. Use, but it is very troublesome).
4, The hard disk partition format is wrong, it is not recognized when installing the system, you must have GPT (GUID) partition format.
5, Do not install the system from the network, do not try to use your original backup to restore the system, because the old and new versions of the Apple system disk formats are not the same! Honestly download the Apple system, do a 10.13.6 Apple system installation disk, install from the USB disk, this is the only way! To restore your original system information, I can tell you a way of thinking, (because one buyer friend said ok, but I have not actually done it, I don't know the specific details, this idea is for reference only, I can't provide technical support! ) The method is as follows: You can use your original Apple system to install the disk, upgrade your computer system to version 10.13.6, and then make a backup, and then use the USB flash drive to restore the system after installing the new hard disk.
6, The speed test on the picture of this product is the hard disk using Samsung PM961 on the actual measurement, the data is for reference only, not as a receipt basis, because the LATE 2014 version of the mac mini computer itself only supports PCIe x2 speed, resulting in a large discount on the hard disk speed. This is not a problem with the transfer card. You use the original hard drive cable of mac mini, which is the same result.
