For different countries, there is a different 4G network, so before ordering, you need to check the network first. If the network is suitable, choose the
correct submodel.
Case1 application: network port and RS485 sending data simultaneously via 4G
Note: The EG46 Network Port is a LAN port function. It can be connected to a network port device such as a camera to connect to the Internet. At the same
time, the serial port of the EG46 can be connected to the RS485 sensor, so it can be connected to the Internet. The network port and RS485 can
simultaneously transmit data and establish a connection with the 4G network to transmit data, which is not an alternative.


APPLICATION case2: 4G and network port primary and secondary backups transfer RS485 data
Note: the network port performs the function of WAN port, RS485 device access, etc., and the RS485 data upload requirements are high. Most importantly,
avoid serial port to Ethernet, serial port to 2G, serial port to 4G, etc. These single link products may have poor network or abnormal conditions,
resulting in data transmission interruption or data loss.
The main scenario of the primary 4G secondary Ethernet: the data traffic usage is paying less attention to the 4G traffic rate, and the surrounding
Ethernet network is stable.
The main scenario of the main Ethernet auxiliary 4G: worry about excessive 4G traffic loads, the Ethernet network, and the network is stable.


Application case 3: expand data load of various devices
Note: It can be connected to multiple switches or routers through a network port to connect multiple network devices (depending on the assumption of cameras,
 network ports, etc.) or PCs.
PC can query RS485 slave device and upload data to internet via 4G network. It is also possible for the EG46 to actively query the RS485 slave device and
send the data to the Internet.

Application case 5: EG46 Modbus Master application
Note: The EG46 can be configured as a ModbusMaster function to query the RS485 devices connected to the bus.
The EG46 can upload the result value returned by the RS485 device (currently it only supports three short types, floating and boolean) to the cloud server.
 The data analysis can also be performed later and sent to the cloud server according to the configured conditions.
The EG46 sends the query result to the cloud server via MQTT, TCP, UDP, HTTP, etc. The cloud server can also send control commands to the RS485 device.
