Function introduction:

1. The digital chip adopts high-end WM8804G chip and adopts I2S interface; it supports 16 to 24-bit audio data format; the distortion and dynamics are very ideal, and it supports a high sampling rate of 192kHz. Advanced jitter reduction technology can control the intrinsic jitter (Intrinsic period jitter) within 50ps RMS, with a very high degree of reduction.

2. The output port adopts optical fiber and coaxial output, which is convenient for users to connect external power amplifier.

3. Supports volume control by hardware (I2C interface)

4. The power supply is powered by Raspberry Pi, no external power supply is required; and the design of π-type filter power supply is adopted to effectively reduce the interference of the power supply.

5. Using I2S interface for direct digital output, high degree of restoration, non-USB interface DAC mode, does not occupy other extended GPIO of Raspberry Pi

6. Provides a power indicator for easy observation of the expansion board status.

7. The PCB board adopts a high-grade gold-plated process and arc-shaped traces (high-end HIFI DACs all use arc-shaped traces) to better ensure the impedance continuity of the signal and reduce signal reflection and refraction.

8. Good sound depends on real materials. The optical fiber interface adopts HIFI-grade high-quality optical fiber socket, and the coaxial interface adopts audio isolation transformer, which provides good digital audio and protects your audio equipment and boards.

9. Integrated infrared receiving function, it is more convenient to control the playback when there is no network.
