Great inexpensive brushed ESC. I have 2 of them and have been very happy with them. They are fairly compact easy to fit into most any application. Also nice to see LiPo support. Handles NiMH 7.2v and 2S LiPo 7.4V packs just fine. I haven't yet tried 3S on one yet, but the small-ish passive heat sink on it worries me a bit with that level of power for extended runs. My only critique would be the power switch is on a fairly short (2 in. maybe) lead. So if you need to relocate it further away you'll have to extend the wire. If you want it close it will actually clip to the side of the ESC which is a nice touch.
Put this on a 75mm Mobula 7 v2 frame with a crazybeef3, 0802 19,000kv motors and gemfan props. Works extremely well. Couldn't find any reviews but everything works including smart audio. Get very good signal.
ended up selling it to a buddy of mine to put into his 1/16th sized truck. it will not work on a brushed 550 motor. it got up to 150 degrees when shooting it with temp gun. would not put into anything big
Very nice batteries. They come in branded packages, cells are very evenly charged to exactly 3.85v. The discharge in flight is normal, without steep drop in the end. Weight is 67g. I bought 4 batteries and XT-Xinte also sent me a lipo fire protection bag! Thank you very much!

Bestens für 6S geeignet, aber auch für 4S. Fantastisches Flugverhalten, insbesondere mit 5 PROPs.
Ich hab mir den als 6S 4x50A-ESC mit 2207/1800kV Motoren und 5249erPROPS gebaut und fliege bis zu 180kmh damit, bei max.100A Strom. Das Teil ist so super, dass ich mir den Wind6 gleich nochmal mit 2306/1700kV gebaut habe. Komplettkosten liegen hier bei XT-Xinte bei gerademal 200-240€, je nach Ausstattung.
Wer unbedingt 5 bauen will, nimmt einfach den Wind5-Frame.

This is a great little drone, however, it takes a lengthy amount of programming and set up. You must bind the drone to your receiver, you must also flash the firmware (because it’s shipped with an incompatible version for betaflight), in order to setup the drone. Next you must adjust all the settings and alarms (the low-battery alarm is programmed improperly). I struggled with betaflight, set up, binding, and programming (driver errors, downloads, fixes) for almost 2 days in order to be able to use it. Don’t forget to calibrate the accelerator for stable flight (this is critical!), use a mug or cup to keep your drone level with the USB plugged in to BetaFlight for easy accelerometer calibration. I also use a mug for stability in take off as well. Once it’s all set up and programmed properly the drone functions and flys amazing. Both my 14 yr old son and I take turns flying all over the house and outside. I would highly recommend purchasing 4-6 extra batteries due to the fact that total flight time is only about 2-3 minutes and charging time 30-60mins. I would also recommend a multi-port USB adapter to quickly charge them at the same time (available here on Amazon, 2 four port chargers for $12). There are lots of YouTube setup walkthrough videos for this drone and it was the only way I was able to work my way through the setup and numerous issues. Be patient, take your time, and breathe, it’s all worth it in the end!

This is a great little ESC, I had it in a road car for a while and then swapped it into my basher because I needed something waterproof, I have not had a single problem, I've run NIMH and a lipo packs with it
wow.. what a great little esc! I had a couple brushed motors laying around and decided to put one in my son's 2wd race buggy. 27T pro stock motor with a 22t pinion was PLENTY FAST.. in fact, I had to turn the throttle endpoint down to about 55%. we raced it today and It was great. I took the car out for about 10 minutes worth of hot laps on a 4200mah 2s lipo. super performance..liked it almost better than my brushless setup in my own 2wd buggy. Servo is plenty fast getting 5.94 volts according to my ohmmeter.. Easy set up, plenty of power, just enough drag brake, brakes work well.. great features and overall a super value. Hobbywing has knocked it out of the park with this. 60amps, waterproof, excellent fit finish and really great instructions.. I will be looking to buy more of these for my other brushed motor cars.. nice job hobbywing!
